Understanding the Choose Your Software button, Step #4

You or your team use different software titles, but for this Virtual Workstation session you only need specific applications to load.

This tutorial will show you how to select which applications to load on your Virtual Workstation.
This article assumes:
     You already have Virtual Workstation Hours
     You already have applications added to your available software list.
          Understanding Bring Your Own Software License 
          Understanding "Try Software for Free"
     You already understand how to start a Virtual Workstation and have the client installed.
          Downloading and Installing the Virtual Workstation Client Application (PC)

When you log into your StratusCore account, the StratusCore Virtual Studio Dashboard page will load.  First verify that you have enough Virtual Workstation hours to complete your project.

Scroll down the page until you see the </>Software section.  Verify that the necessary software is available to you.  If you do not see the software you need, please see: Adding "Bring Your Own Software License" applications to your Virtual Workstation.

After you verify that the software is available for you to choose, on the right side of the dashboard page you will see Step #4.  Click on [Choose Your Software] button to open the software selection screen.  Notice that the [LAUNCH Virtual Workstation] button is deactivated until you select which application(s) you need.

(1) Click on the selection box for the applications you need for this session on the Virtual Workstation
(2) After you have selected the application title(s), make sure they appear in the Selected Software list.
(3) When you are sure you have the software you need, you can now click on the [LAUNCH Virtual Workstation] button.

After selecting applications, click [LAUNCH Virtual Workstation]

Your session token will download, and then you can launch.
