Trouble With Effects in 3ds Max

If you need to render using Effects in 3ds Max, such as Hair & Fur, you may run into inconsistency problems. To quickly fix this issue use the following Extra Parameters flag in your Standard render submission to resolve all issues that result around the Effects options.

 Paste the below line into the Extra Parameters Field:

-effects:1

This will ensure that all submissions turn on and use any and all effects that you have set in your Render.
