While technically possible, using custom fonts tends to be time consuming to set up and often error prone.
The best way to implement your custom fonts is to "bake" them out by converting them to standard geometry. If you have the capability to do so and if you would like to quickly test if converting your font worked properly, simply try opening the scene on a machine that does not have the custom font installed and see if your object appears as it should. Alternatively, you can upload the scene to to us and run a free test render to check.
