Q: When I am on the Virtual Workstation page on the StratusCore Platform, I don't see any options to Launch my Virtual Workstation, why is this?
A: You either haven't purchased or started your 10-day trial of StratusCore’s Virtual Workstation. If you're eligible for a trial (meaning you haven't already done a trial), there will be a button you can click to start the trial. Otherwise, you can purchase Workstation time by clicking the "Purchase" button in the upper right corner of the page.
Q: I’ve modified and/or saved files within “Storage” folder in the Virtual Workstation, but I don’t see them in my “Storage” on the StratusCore Platform.
A: It will take up to five minutes for updates to appear because the system is performing anti-virus/anti-malware scans. Also, make sure you are saving your files in the correct folder Virtual Workstation. Anything saved outside of the Storage folder will not be saved.
Q: Why is my StratusCore Virtual Workstation experience slow or jumpy?
A: If you’re experiencing performance issues, it could be caused by issues with your location, internet provider, and/or network traffic. The Virtual Workstation servers require a certain amount of bandwidth and low latency so, be sure to run a speed test on the Virtual Workstation page on the Platform prior to launching to see if your internet connection supports running a Workstation.
Q: I can't use the "alt" key like I'm used to!
A: If the "alt" key is not working, please try using the "windows" key in its place.
